Black History Moment: Lisa Gelobter (1971-Present)

Lisa Gelobter is a computer scientist, technologist, and a chief executive. Gelobter was closely involved with the 1995 creation of Shockwave as a software engineer, the technology that helped to develop animation. (Think of all those GIFs we know and love to use daily.) She served as the Chief Digital Service Officer for the United States Department of Education. She also helped launch Hulu and served on the senior management team.
