This is separate from the traditional summer school for middle and high school students who need summer school to be promoted to the next grade. Students cannot participate in both. SOAR is separate from Special Education Extended School Year (ESY) Services that is offered each summer. Some Special Education students will have the option of attending both SOAR and ESY.
