11th annual Imagination Begins with You…” HS Writing Contest
Welcome to the 11th annual “Imagination Begins with You…” high school writing contest.
Contest Description: Short story, less than 1,000 words.

Prizes: First place winner receives $300. Second place winner receives $100.
Publication: Winners and most finalist stories may be published in a short story collection (available in paperback and eBook).
Deadline: March 15, 2021
Submission: Use the contest entry form (preferred). You may also enter using eMail to brian.claspell@gmail.com (no attachments please, include story in the text of the email) or mail to Brian Claspell – 7608 Trebbiano Dr – Kernersville, NC 27284. Include: Name, email address, high school and year in school, word count, and title of story.
Winners announced in May.
Criteria: Short stories will be judged on: (a) Creativity/Imagination 50%, (b) Plot 25%, (c) Grammar 25%.
Any genre (fiction/non-fiction) is acceptable.Thanks,
